Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Please Touch Museum! Join us on December 31, 2021 either in the morning or afternoon for a dance party, lively programming, a visit from Squiggles, and more!

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Please Touch Museum!

We have reimagined our New Year’s Eve event this year as we celebrate together for a smaller in-person gathering with limited capacity. Join us for a morning or afternoon timed ticket session that includes two-and-a-half hours of play at the Museum, art workshops, New Year’s Eve party hats & glasses, a visit from Squiggles, and a dance party in Hamilton Hall as we celebrate 2022 in style!

Morning Session
9-11:30 a.m.

9 a.m. Doors open

9-11 a.m. Free play at PTM! Explore our exhibits, and visit our studios to make some special souvenirs for a festive party!

  • Create a puppet friend from recycled materials in the Creative Arts Studio — see if you can find some of our other puppet friends roaming the Museum throughout the day!
  • Build your own musical instrument in the Albert M. Greenfield Makerspace or the Creative Arts Studio to help you rock out in Hamilton Hall!
  • Gather round for special storytimes throughout the morning

11 a.m. Dance party in Hamilton Hall! Each child will receive a confetti-filled beach ball for their own personal New Year’s Eve ball drop at the museum, then bring it home to keep the celebration going.

11:30 a.m. Session ends — Happy New Year!
