We miss the sound of laughter and seeing our member’s and visitor’s smiles at the Museum! We hope that everyone continues to be well and are finding creative ways to celebrate life’s moments while we cannot be together.

When we closed the Museum in mid-March, we anticipated being able to reopen on May 18 based on the Federal, state and local guidance provided at that time. As the stay-at-home orders continue in Philadelphia, the Museum will extend our temporary closure until we are able to reopen in accordance with state and City guidelines. We will continue to freeze all active memberships as of March 2020 with no time lost during the Museum’s extended closure. We will reactivate all memberships when the Museum reopens to members and the public. No action is required from our members; we will handle this service.

During the closure, our team has been working tirelessly to ensure that the Museum is clean and prepared to welcome members and visitors back when they are ready. As you may expect, our operating procedures will be different upon reopening and we will more information once we are closer to the reopening date – we are counting the days!
