Supplies needed: white paper (any size), shallow tray/plastic/foil container (must be larger than the piece of paper), 1-2 acrylic paints, Isopropyl alcohol (70% or higher) or hand sanitizer, round paint brush, 2-3 clear cups (for water/paint), paper towels, and a smock.
Registration is closed. Please scroll down to sign up for our remaining class in March.
Colors: Song and Dance
Saturday, March 20 with Miss Noelia Uriarte, Musician
Participants will have an opportunity to celebrate all the colors of the rainbow by learning & singing “Colors,” a fun, engaging song composed by Ms. Noelia that is sure to get stuck in your head! Participants will learn the short song and be able to sing/recite it using their best singing voices, as well as have some fun following along with corresponding body movements per color!
Registration closes on Thursday, March 18 at 5 p.m.
ArtistYear & Please Touch Museum
ArtistYear, the first AmeriCorps program committed to addressing the nation’s arts education gap through a national service arts corps, has partnered with Please Touch Museum to extend its reach in delivering digital arts programming using the Museum’s exhibits as inspiration for content. Six teaching fellows – including musicians, playwrights and painters – are creating a series of live at-home workshops for members to enjoy while the Museum is closed.
PTM’s partnership with ArtistYear has been funded in part by PECO/Exelon, the Connelly Foundation and the Ladies Aid Society of the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
