Support Please Touch Museum’s
PAWS for Reading Program

Do you remember your early days of learning to read? Research shows that many children get stressed when reading aloud because of nerves and a fear of making mistakes. Through PAWS for Reading, young readers improve their focus, word recognition and reading comprehension with a cat or dog’s nonjudgmental encouragement and calming presence.

At Please Touch Museum, we are committed to being an active partner in child development and early literacy, which is why in 2020 we are offering the PAWS for Reading program to Museum visitors at no additional cost! And the best part? YOU can help us decide whether pooches or kitties will act as “coaches” in 2020 by donating to this PAWS with a cause.

Our goal is to fully-fund this program but we need YOUR help!  Every donation made by Monday, December 9, 2019 counts toward our goal.  Donate today!
