Pop Up Play Corner: At the Seashore

Saturday 9 – 10:30am
Enjoy a trip to the beach without the traffic. Relax on PTM’s pretend shores and spend some time building a sandcastle or swimming with dolphins. Don’t worry about a towel or sunscreen or toys, because we’ve got you covered!

Drop-In & Draw: Seashells
River Adventures, Floor 1
11am – 12:30pm
Calling all naturalists! Drop-in to look closely at seashells. Grab a piece of paper and some colored pencils and sketch mollusks of all shapes and sizes.

Storytime: Summer Getaways
City Park, Floor 1
1:30 – 2pm
Get cozy and listen to stories, sing songs, and build literacy skills. Day dream about being at the beach with Please Touch’s favorite seashore books.

Adventurous Afternoon: She Sells Seashells at the Seashore
Adventure Camp Exhibit, Floor 1
4 – 4:30pm
Meet us at Base Camp to embark on a 30-minute STEAM adventure designed for students ages 4 – 8 years old and adult learning partner. Join us for a hands-on exploration of beach dwellers with a “shell”- hermit crabs, mollusks, and horseshoe crabs.
