Join us for Monster Mash!

Halloween is here, and Monster Mash is back! Celebrate with us at this Please Touch Museum Signature Event! Rock your costume a few days early to play and explore a variety of fun-filled activities. Design and create your own goodie bags, go on a scavenger hunt, make a monstrous wearable art project, play with pumpkins, join a spook-tacular dance party, and more!

Program Room: Monster Tracks
Program Room, Floor 1
10am – 3pm
Drop in anytime to create works of art inspired by your visit to the Museum! To celebrate the holiday, add talons, spikes, and bumps to create wearable monster feet. Do the Monster Mash and add a footprint to a collaborative art project.

Science Show: Do Try This at Home
Carousel House, Floor 1
10 – 10:30am and 2 – 2:30pm
Science is not just something that happens in a lab… It’s all around us! In this program, you can discover some cool experiments that you can perform right in your own kitchen.

Character Appearance: Math Monster

One, two, three! How many monsters will there be? Three, four, five, six! Counting together is a treat not a trick. Come help count seven scary monsters with a favorite story and meet the Math Monster.

Adventurous Afternoon:Pumpkin Dissection

Meet us to embark on a 30-minute STEAM adventure designed for students ages 4 – 8 years old. Explore pumpkins inside and out!

Music and Movement: End of Day Dance Party

Join us for a spooktacular dance party to end your day of play and celebrations at Please Touch Museum

Family Activity: Scavenger Hunt
Roadside Attractions, Floor 1
On your mark, get set, ready, go! Stop by Roadside Attractions to decorate a goodie bag and embark on a scavenger hunt throughout the Museum.
