January 19th: PAWs for Reading

Children can read aloud to a therapy dog (or cat, or bunny!) to improve reading and communication skills. Sessions are one-on-one with trained therapy pets (and their handlers) in a setting where they can feel comfortable and confident and have fun! After all, a dog will not correct them or make them feel awkward if they stumble. Bring a familiar favorite book from home, or choose one from our library!
