Grab your winter parkas and stop by to revel in the wonder of winter. Through activities and games, create your own snow day and learn about animals that live in polar regions.

 

Creative Arts Studio: Snowflakes

Drop in anytime to create works of art inspired by your visit to the Museum! Explore the crystalline structures of snowflakes and design your own.

Join in activities, songs, and play especially designed to offer our youngest visitors time and space to socialize with others and strengthen early learning skills. This month, investigate the words, colors, and sounds of weather.

Drop in to get a closer look at the 7 principles of Kwanzaa. Then grab your oil pastels and use your Kuumba (creativity) to explore Kwanzaa symbols and themes.

Why are there candles at Kwanza?  Join us for an hour-long open- ended exploration on Kwanzaa candles and colors. Get hands on by using tools to create your own candle to take home and let your light shine!
