Birthday Parties
The Please Touch Museum Birthday experience is one your child, family and friends will never forget. Since our party slots fill quickly, we urge you to call at least two months in advance of the actual date you have in mind. Please call our reservationist at (215) 963-0667, ext 3123 for answers to all your questions about Please Touch Museum birthday parties.
Each party will run 2 hours and includes the following options:
- A coronation ceremony of the Birthday Child
- A Theater experience and special theater seating (subject to change)
- Decorating birthday crowns for all children participating in the party
- Games, stories and activities
- Party invitation postcards
- Present for the birthday child
- Paper goods including: cups, plates, napkins, spoons and placemats
A Please Touch Museum Party Facilitator will be “on call” for you during your party to help with any reasonable request you may have. They will:
- Greet you and help you unload your car
- Help you set up your party room with any additional decorations you bring
- Store all gifts that your guests bring in the “gift crate” until you leave
- Orient your guests on Museum manners
- Escort your party guests (adults and children) on the museum gallery floor (your facilitator does not take the place of adult supervision)
- Facilitate your party
- Help you pack up and load your car at the end of your party.
Each room contains:
- A small sink
- Clock
- Paper towel dispenser
- CD Player
- PTM will provide music for your party or you can bring your own music (PTM retains the right to monitor the noise level and lyrical content)
Rates:
- Small Party Room:
- Total of 30 people (15 adults/15 children)
- $275 non-members
- $247.50 members
- Large Party Room:
- Total of 45 people (20 adults/25 children)
- $390 non-members
- $351 members
- Please note: An additional $9 is charged per person over your party limit
- Special Wednesday Party Rates:
- Small Room
- $200 non-members
- $180 members
- Large Room
- $300 non-members
- $270 members
Party bags are also available at $4 and $6 per bag. They are filled with a variety of age-appropriate items, such as activity books, pencils, stickers, and more.
Rent the Entire Museum!
We do offer the entire museum for after hours rental.
(Please Note: Evening rental packages do not include the same benefits as a daytime birthday party package)
Evening rental rates:
- $700 for 2 hours
- $1,400 for 4 hours
