For Educators & Group Leaders
Please Touch Museum offers a variety of programs from trips to the museum to programs for the classroom. In addition we also offer curriculum support, and staff development programs for teachers and day care providers.
Group Visits
Groups are always welcome at Please Touch Museum! Reservations are required for groups of 15 or more and must be made in advance. For more information on a group visit to Please Touch Museum and rates, see our group visits section.
Bring the magic of the Please Touch Museum experience to your classroom. The Cultural Explorers Program staff uses the museum's multi-cultural curriculum kits to help children see that all people have the same basic needs - food, clothing, housing, family and friends - while learning that the differences in language, arts, landscape and cuisine are what make the world an interesting place.

Teacher Training & Staff Development
Please Touch Museum offers a variety of off-site curriculum support, staff development and parent enrichment workshops. Workshops can be conducted at your facility and are approved for Keystone Stars and PA Pathways credits. Presenters are TQAS certified.
ABC’s of Literacy
This workshop series provides a better understanding of the importance of developing the early literacy skills of young children. Discussions include cognitive and physical child development, classroom layout, programmatic strategies and suggestions for development at home.
Science All Around Us®
For classroom use this program highlights science and math concepts around a particular themes including: My Body and Science, My World and Science and My Community and Science. Materials and activities encourage creative hands-on exploration.
Toddler Behavior
Learn how to handle tantrums, biting and other disruptive behaviors in a positive, supportive manner and turn your “difficult” toddlers into delightful two-year-olds!
