Anything is possible in Flight Fantasy, which sets the stage for imagination-based play. Row a flying machine, pedal a propeller bike or play hopscotch on clouds! In Flight Fitness, flying machines inspired by centuries of experimentation and imagination offer opportunities for creating movement using your body’s own energy. In the Flying Machine area, children will create, activate and measure the flight of parachutes, bird wings, airplanes, seed pods and leaves. With physical science as a focal point throughout, children can experiment with balance, speed and coordination to create the sensation of gliding, hovering and spinning.
