The Fantastic World of Dan Yaccarino

Opens March 11

The art of story is brought to life in this special exhibition inspired by the work of the award-winning children’s author and illustrator Dan Yaccarino. Alongside the original illustrations for well-loved favorites such as Unlovable and Cooking with Henry and Elliebelly, as well as Yaccarino’s newest book I Am A Story, children and families can step into newly-imagined interactive exhibit experiences inspired by the art, and created by Please Touch Museum. Star in your own cooking show live from Henry and Elliebelly’s kitchen, tell your story beside a kid-friendly campfire complete with roasting marshmallows, explore Alfred’s doghouse from Unlovable, and more. Mark your calendar!

Did you know? Dan Yaccarino designed the characters from the hit Nick Jr. series The Backyardigans!
