Create works of art inspired by your trip to the museum. If you had one wish for yourself, your family, your community, or your world, what would it be? Dream, doodle, and display your wish on the Wish Tree and then take one home to remind you of your wish.


Author Meet and Greet: Rashad Davis

All Ages Come listen to a very special storytime led by author and illustrator Rashad Davis. Meet with Rashad after storytime for an opportunity to have him sign your book! Books will be available to purchase.


Author Workshop: Superheroes Among Us
12:00-1:00 PM

Ages preschool and up with an adult learning partner

Get ready to get super! This workshop is designed to teach students the basics of character design using illustration, visual art, and storytelling techniques. Students work together to create super heroes based on interviews with each other as they learn about the power of empathy and how we all have something that makes us “super”. And it’s a lot of fun too!

Join an interactive storytime inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s legacy with books, poems, and songs celebrating wishes, dreams, and community service.

Drop in and explore dreams. Then grab a dream bubble and water color pencils to showcase your dream.
