Please Touch Museum: First Wednesdays


1st Wednesday: April 4th 

Please Touch, Smell, See, and Hear!  We’ll be exploring the senses through play!

Through a partnership with Vetri’s Mobile Teaching Kitchen, chefs young and old will learn how to how to cook fresh produce. The School District of Philadelphia will be on-site with information about Kindergarten registration and readiness. On the first Wednesday of every month, Please Touch Museum is open until 7 pm for two extra hours of play, and offers $2 per person admission from 4:00 on. Enjoy your visit!

Join in activities, songs, and play especially designed to offer our youngest visitors time and space to socialize with others and strengthen early learning skills.

Drop in any time to experiment with materials and process, as you create works of art inspired by your trip to the Museum.

Performance: The Building Show

Join the Playhouse Players and the Three Little Pigs in this zany production all about building things up and knocking them down.

Get cozy and listen to stories, sing songs, and build literacy skills with books that tie to our monthly program themes.

The Mobile Teaching Kitchen brings the culinary classroom to the curbside in the communities we serve. Children and families have the opportunity to get hands-on preparing a recipe and get instruction for cooking healthy meals at home together.

Meet us at the Torch to stretch, wiggle, and move your body as we end the day with an exploration of rhythm and movement.
