Family Festival: Sukkot

We’re celebrating the Jewish holiday of Sukkot this week by building sukkahs, reflecting on nature, and enjoying the Autumn harvest at this play-based cultural exploration designed for families.

Special Family Activity: Art Installation

Stop by the Please Touch Museum Sukkah and celebrate the Season. Sit in the sukkah,reconnect with nature, and spend time with family and friends.

Program Room: Celebrating Sukkot through Art

Monday – Saturday, 10am – 3pm
Sunday, 11am – 3pm
Drop in anytime to create works of art to celebrate Sukkot! Let the light in by making a Citron Sun Catcher.

Drop-In & Draw: Sukkah Decorations
River Adventures, Floor 1
11:30am – 12:30pm
Join us in River Adventures to make a decoration to add to Please Touch’s Sukkah.

Meet the Holidays – Storytime: Sukkot

Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: A Grr-ific Exhibit, Floor 1
Get cozy and listen to stories, sing songs, and build literacy skills with stories about Sukkot traditions and celebrations.

Maker Program: Building with Branches
Centennial Classroom, Ground Floor
2 – 3pm
Stack, pile, build. Using branches and twigs, make structures inspired by Sukkahs.

Music and Movement: End of the Day Parade
Hamilton Hall, Floor 1
4:30 – 5pm
Join us for a musical parade to end of a joyful day celebrating Sukkot at Please Touch Museum.
