Please Touch Museum’s 40th Birthday Celebration

40 years of imagination. 40 years of exploration. 40 years of fun.
40 years of learning through play.

This will be the birthday party of the year! We’re opening our doors and throwing a blow-out bash to celebrate Please Touch Museum’s proud history and bright future. With live music and theatrical performances, you won’t want to miss it. Mayor Jim Kenney and a few other special guests will join us to wish the Museum a happy birthday and many more. Cake, anyone?

As our gift to you, we are offering 40% off admission for the entire day!

Have you ever wanted to step inside your own imagination? Chalk drawing represents the essence of creativity, and we’ve designed an immersive experience where you can leave your mark over and over again!

12:30 p.m.| Steve Pullara and his Cool Beans Band

Rock out to kid-friendly tunes with award-winning children’s artist Steve Pullara.

2:45 p.m. | Almanac Dance Circus Theater

Watch this amazing troupe tumble and fly with acrobatic storytelling in this very special performance in Hamilton Hall. Keep an eye out for awe-inspiring pop-ups throughout the rest of the Museum as well!

4:00 p.m. | Performance by Roger Lee
Hamilton Hall
Award-winning dancer and choreographer Roger Lee brings hip-hop to our party with a fun group routine, traveling dance train, and music that makes kids and their families move.

4:30 p.m. | Confetti Dance Party with Roger Lee
Hamilton Hall
Bust a move and cap off our one-of-a-kind celebration at our dance party with plenty of confetti!

Join us to celebrate 40 years of learning through play and recognize our honorees, Lisa & Gie Liem and PNC Grow Up Great for their wide-ranging impact on the lives of children. Guests will have a chance to experience the Museum’s amazing collection and special Museum activities and exhibits. Proceeds will support Museum educational programs including its CAPP fund, which provides free or discounted admission for low-income children and families.
