The beauty of African culture meets the power of dance when the Universal African Dance and Drum Ensemble comes to Please Touch Museum. Representing West African countries like Guinea, Senegal, Mali, Ghana and more, this world-class troupe presents an electrifying performance of amazing stilt walkers, drummers, ground masquerades and talented drummers and dancers. Other activities include craft-your-own African mask, Play with Percussion programming where you can explore a variety of African percussion instruments, an End of the Day Dance Party and more.
Universal African Dance and Drum Ensemble performances:
Saturday and Sunday: 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Play with Percussion:
Saturday and Sunday: 1:00 p.m.
End of the Day Dance Party:
Saturday and Sunday: 4:30 p.m.
