Centennial Arts Room, Lower Level
Create works of art inspired by your trip to the museum. Use clothespins to pick, pinch, and paint with various materials. Which will become your new favorite paint tool?

Live Theater: The Building Show

Join the Playhouse Players and the Three Little Pigs in this zany production all about building things up and knocking them down.

Family Performance: Orchestra 2001 – Experiments In Sound
12-12:30 and 2 – 2:30 PM

Explore how wind and string instruments produce their sounds! Orchestra 2001’s flutist David DiGiacobbe and cellist Ulrich Boeckheler demonstrate high and low sounds and how special effects can express different moods.

Meet scientists, ask questions, and be part of research projects all about play and early learning.

Sid the Science Kid: The Super-Duper Exhibit!  brings to life the award-winning PBS KIDS TV series Sid the Science Kid by transporting Museum guests into Sid’s world to become science kids themselves as they play, discover and investigate basic science questions around Sid’s home, at his school in the Super Fab Lab and on the playground.

Meet and Greets bring little ones face-to-face with their imagination, as well-loved personalities from page and screen come to life. Don’t forget your camera, and please remember to be courteous to other fans!
